Driving Theory Test

By legislation, before applying for a Learner Permit, candidates must complete and pass a test of their general road safety knowledge and motoring legislation.

The test is offered in both Irish and English and candidates with special requirements will be accommodated.

To avoid testing delays please ensure your name and PPSN are registered correctly.

Note: Please have a credit / laser card and PPSN (formerly RSI number) readily available. For C (Bus) and D (Truck) tests, please also have your driving license number readily available
